Two talk proposals for Regional Scrum Gathering Tokyo 2027

鎌倉のアジャイルコーチ、山尾理紗です。来年1月のRegional Scrum Gathering Tokyo 2027に、フィンランドのスクラムトレーナーTeemu Hyyryläinenとの共同セッションと、私ひとりのセッションの2本を応募しました。どちらもテーマは「スクラムとAI」です。

I'm Risa Yamao, an agile coach based in Kamakura, Japan. I've submitted two proposals to Regional Scrum Gathering Tokyo 2027: a joint talk with Finnish Certified Scrum Trainer Teemu Hyyryläinen, and a solo talk of my own. Both sit in the Scrum with AI track, and both come from what I've seen first-hand in teams this year.

The AI said what we couldn't. So whose opinion is it now?

同じ現場、同じ時期、同じAI、同じやり方。隣同士の2つのプロジェクトで、片方の議論は動き続け、もう片方は止まりました。違ったのは道具ではありません。25年以上チームを見てきたTeemuがこの話を聞いて「目から鱗が落ちた」瞬間から、2人の対話で始まるセッションです。

Same site, same period, same AI, same way of working. Two projects sat side by side: in one, the discussion kept moving; in the other, it stopped. The tool wasn't the difference. When I first told Teemu this story, he said the scales fell from his eyes, after more than 25 years of watching teams. The session opens with a short, scripted dialogue between the two of us and an anonymous audience poll, and is delivered in Japanese with interpretation for Teemu's parts.

My whole staff is AI. I'm the only human. I built an "organisation" around a one-person company, and it broke in places every Scrum team knows.

1人で会社をやっていて、人間の社員はいません。代わりにAIに役割を与えて、秘書室、専門職、インフラ係、司令塔のある「組織」にしました。ところが1ヶ月で司令塔は遅くなり、「できました」と報告されたのに何も保存されていないこともありました。どれも人間のチームで見た光景です。組織図の実物を見せながら、AIに役割を与えるとは何を決めることなのかを話します。

I run my company alone. There are no human employees; instead, I gave AI agents roles and built an organisation: an office team, specialists, an infrastructure crew and a coordinator. Within a month the coordinator had slowed down, and twice an AI reported "done" when nothing had actually been saved. Every one of these failures was familiar from human teams. Using my real org chart, before and after, I'll show what "giving AI a role" actually requires you to decide: roles, handoffs, and the definition of done, which are the very things Scrum spent twenty years putting into words.

なぜ2本なのか

Why two talks

共同セッションは「AIが出した意見は、いま誰のものか」という考え方の話。単独セッションは、自分の会社をAIで回してみて見えた、役割と引き継ぎと完了の定義という実務の話です。同じ問いを、表と裏から見ています。

The joint talk is about how teams think: once an AI voices an opinion, who owns it, and what does that do to a team's ability to decide? The solo talk is the hands-on side: what happened when I ran my own company with AI staff, and why the fixes turned out to be roles, handoffs and the definition of done. They look at the same question from two sides.

Teemu Hyyryläinen is a Certified Scrum Trainer at Satori Finland. I've known him since my years at Reaktor Japan.
